When is the Hello Kitty Run Dubai?
The event will be held in 14 December 2018.
How can I register for the run?
You can register only online at www.hellokittyrundubai.com by visiting the ‘Registration’ tab in the menu bar. Once the registration page opens up you simply follow the instructions to give your personal data, pick your race pack and go to the payment page.
How can I make Payment for the Hello Kitty Run?
All payments are made electronically using a credit card at the end of the registration process. No cash payments will be accepted.

Where will the race be held?
The race will flag-off and finish at Zabeel Park, Dubai, UAE.
What is the race distance?
The race distance is 5km which participants can complete at their own pace – running, jogging,

How do I know if my entry has been accepted?
You will receive an email confirmation slip upon successful registration.
Do I get a refund if I choose not to participate after registration?
All race entries are strictly non-refundable upon successful registration but you can assign your registration to a friend. The will be a “change fee” of AED 20.00 to assign your registration to another participant. You are not allowed to “sell” your registration to another participant.
What is the age limit for me to participate?
The run is open for children and adults age 3 years and above. Babies under 3 years do not require registration and can participate with an adults granting strict supervision at all times by the parent(s).
Do I have to train to participate?
is at your own risk and it is advised to consult a doctor or physician prior to the race if you have any doubts about your physical fitness.
Do I have to bring water?
There are plenty of water stations throughout the race and entertainment village available free of charge. Additional drinks might be purchased at the food stalls.
Can I drink alcohol or smoke?
This is a family event and we do not allow the sale or consumption of any form alcohol. Smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking areas – if provided by the organizer.
What happens in case of bad weather?
Should bad weather prevent the race to take place then the organizers reserve the rights to stage the run at an alternative date within 60 days. If the race is totally cancelled, then the organizers will refund the entry fee (please see the terms and conditions to participate for more details).
Will I get race timing?
This is a non-competitive family fun run; no timing will be given.
Who receives the “finisher medal”?
“Finisher medals” will only be given to participants who start and complete the family fun run.
Is there a baggage deposit at the start point?
There will be no baggage deposit on site. Each participant will receive and exclusive Hello Kitty String Bag to carry and belongings with them throughout.
Can I skate or cycle during the race?
No – This is not allowed.
Can I bring along my pets?
No – pets are strictly not allowed.
Will I be allowed to bring strollers?
Yes, baby strollers are allowed on the race course.
Are there any other activities on the day?
Yes! There will be a Hello Kitty themed Fun village at the race course that will feature Hello Kitty & Friends character appearances, Hello Kitty Spa, Hello Kitty Fashion walk, games stalls, music, F&B and much more.
Where and when will Race Pack Collection be?
This will be the week prior to the race and all information will be communicated to the participants via email.
Can I exchange my shirt if it’s the incorrect size?
There will be a “change notice board at the race venue for you to try to exchange your shirt with another participant but from the organizers side we will not be able to exchange your shirt size once you have ordered it on your race pack.
Will there be an official photographer?
Yes. Photography and/or videography will be taken during the event for news and publicity purposes by the official photographer and/or videographer. You will be able to see and download your pictures from the website and Facebook site.
Can the participants take photos throughout?
Yes, participants are encouraged to take pictures, share and post images on social media. Let’s get #HKFunRunDubai trending!
Video cameras or professional cameras are not allowed on the race course!
What if I am injured during the race or otherwise unable to finish the race?
The organizers provide medical assistance throughout the event. Please alert any of the race marshals that you require assistance and they will be able to help you immediately.
Is there parking available at the venue?
Yes – there is limited parking available on first come first serve basis near the start point. Other car parks are available within walking distance of the race course. We encourage using public transport to easily get to and from the event
Are taxis available at the event? Metro?
Yes – there will be a taxi drop off and pick up point near the starting point. The Dubai Metro and Monorail are in walking distance to the race venue
